I am a plant enthusiast and have been tending to a large collection of plants and bonsai for almost a decade and have been creating my own potting mixes for many years. After working at a garden center, I noticed customers were often looking for much smaller quantities of potting soil than our commercially sold bags because they were only purchasing the one plant. Furthermore, whether customers knew nothing about plants or knew more than I did, they were all looking for a potting mix suited for their plant, opposed to traditional soil or a one-size-fits-most potting mix.
My hydroponic potting mixes fill this need. I create each formula to suit the specific needs of a particular plant or type of plant, and hand-mix everything in small batches myself. My potting mixes are the solution for plant-lovers not interested in purchasing a bunch of amendments themselves, and for people who don’t know a lot about plants but still want to give them the best chance at success. I’m very confident in these substrates because I utilize these mixes for my own plants and have seen a lot of success.
I am non-binary and a single parent to two children. I’ve written a 120,000 word steampunk novel that I plan on traditionally publishing, create maps and construct languages for writers and worldbuilders, and sell handcrafted jewelry. I also organize a DIY music festival, play and write music, organize a collective of local musicians, and love getting involved in my community.
