Alocasia & Colocasia Mix

These are tropical plants that like warm temperatures in bright, indirect light rather than full sun. Alocasia and Colocasia both are humidity loving plants, with individual needs that can range anywhere from 40% on the very low end to over 80% humidity for some species. If your Colocasia or Alocasia is losing leaves faster than it replaces them, try increasing the humidity in it’s environment by putting it on a pebble tray, introducing a humidifier, and by placing it near other humid-loving plants.

This mix contains a proportional amount of a gentle 5-4-2 organic fertilizer mix derived from fish bone meal, fish meal, alfalfa meal, crab meal, shrimp meal, langbeinite and kelp meal specifically designed for transplanting houseplants. It also contains 2.5% humic acids derived from Leonardite, which may increase micronutrient uptake by plants. This fertilizer also contains endomycorrhizal fungi, ectomycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, saccharomyces, as well as a plethora of beneficial bacteria.
