Phalaenopsis Mix

Description

Also known as Moth orchids, these orchids do best in environments with high humidity, warm temperatures, and chunky, well ventilated soil that retains moisture well. Standard soils don’t cut it with orchids, and Phalaenopsis are (also called Phals for short) are no exception. Phals enjoy a chunky potting mix that is well-drained, well ventilated, and airy in order to mimic the conditions these orchids would naturally grow in on trees. They need plenty of air circulation around their root systems, and will not thrive without proper ventilation.

Ingredients: bio-char, fir bark, orchiata, pumice, sphagnum moss, tree fern fiber
